Development Intern

The Development department is looking to increase community engagement through walk attendance and sponsorship for its National Walks program. The Walks program generates funding for NEDA’s programs and services such as the National Helpline, Navigator program, NEDAWareness Week, and much more.

Communications Intern

Contribute to NEDA’s mission of expanding public understanding of eating disorders and promoting access to quality treatment for those affected along with support for their loved ones through education, advocacy and research! Assist staff in refining our social media strategy, and regularly updating social media and website content. Tasks may include internet research, social media use, and updating the organization website.

Legislative Policy Intern

The Legislative Policy intern will have the opportunity to work with the Legislative Advocacy Manager with advocacy projects currently underway across the country. This position is an ideal opportunity to gain experience with lobbying and grass roots organizing.

Helpline Intern

Information and Referral Helpline interns will offer information and treatment options to callers and answer basic questions regarding body image and eating disorders in a caring and compassionate manner. This position is a great learning opportunity and involves a minimum of 25 hours of training.
