Treatment Providers, Support Groups, & Research Studies
Do you or a loved one need treatment for an eating disorder? Are you trying to seek out a support group as a first step or to maintain your recovery? NEDA maintains a database of treatment options and support groups that could meet your needs.
Participating in a research study can also offer assistance, particularly for those with limited funds for treatment. Studies can be an excellent opportunity to further the understanding of eating disorders and to improve the quality of care. Please carefully examine the criteria and other research protocols to make sure a particular study is right for you.
Each NEDA Toolkit helps tackle the complex nature of eating disorders in a way that is useful and easy to understand. They are intended for guidance, not for standards of care and are based on information available at the time of publication. While the toolkits provide reliable information, they may not address all the nuances of some unique circumstances.
We hope you’ll share this valuable free resource with others. NEDA will send a free NEDA Toolkits CD-ROM, containing all three NEDA Toolkits, to schools in your area on your behalf! Getting critical information into the hands of those in a position to recognize signs of an eating disorder and intervene is as easy as filling out this request form.
