Eating Disorders Awareness Week
February 26 – March 3, 2024
Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) is an annual campaign to educate the public about eating disorders and to engage in efforts to provide hope and to engage support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2024 is taking place Monday, February 26 – Sunday, March 3, 2024.
In order to better recognize, support and effectively treat eating disorders, public awareness is key. This year we are asking you to “Get in the Know” and learn about eating disorders, get involved in raising awareness, and share information and resources.
Get in the Know
Become an Eating Disorders Awareness Week Collaborator
Eating Disorders Awareness Week invites all people impacted by eating disorders to join a collective effort of individuals from every walk of life: folks with lived experience, family members, and friends; students, educators, and coaches; professionals, health care providers, and organizations. Our Eating Disorders Awareness Week Collaborators page includes ideas for sharing resources with your community and engaging in the #EDAW campaign.
Join the Eating Disorders Awareness Week Lighting Campaign
Each year cities and landmark buildings across the country show their support for our community through an annual lighting campaign in honor of #EDAW. The Lighting Campaign helps us bring greater recognition to eating disorders and serves as a beacon of hope, connection, and community for individuals and families affected by these serious illnesses.
