Ok so my family and I leave for a week vacation with extended family tomorrow. To say the very least, I am extremely terrified. I am supposed to be following a meal plan for anorexia with 3 meals and 3 snacks, but I really want to try and eat intuitively as I have been willingly eating meals and snacks. I just really want to listen to my body for once. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? I just want to enjoy my vacation and NOT have to worry about getting 3 meals and snacks in every day. Any advice?

I think you should ask your

I think you should ask your dietitian what they think about it. It's hard to give any healthy advice without knowing you. :-)

Hi Svanb76,

Just wanted to check in & see how your vacation has been going? I agree that it's difficult to give a concrete answer as we are not medical professionals. But yes I can totally relate- my ED skewed my hunger/fullness signals to the point I didn't know how to listen to my body. It is scary. It took a long time to be able to learn to eat intuitively. You will get there, whether or not you chose to do try this vacation or not yet. Just wanted to see how you're doing & that I've been thinking of you <3

I hope you are doing well. Sending you hugs.
