Response to To the Bone

I made a video with friends from treatment responding to To the Bone and the media's portrayal of eating disorders in general. The media in continuing to perpetuate the stereotype that you have to be extremely thin to have an eating disorder. What do you guys think?

My sense is that if as a filmmaker, your objective is to make a movie about anorexia, it's probably no surprise that the character is going to look thin.

But I know what you are getting at : If the topic is eating disorders in general, and you intend to educate the public at the same time, then it would be progress if they chose some of the other categories to show. Which they actually seemed to make an effort to do in TDB, even if they were not the main characters.
