In recognition of National Eating Disorder Awareness Week Andrea will be presenting her talk, OWNING OUR STORIES, followed by Q&A and a short Body Meditation for students. The E&H college has generously opened this event up to the community and encourage teachers and parents to attend as well as share this important event!

OWNING OUR STORIES: One woman's 14 year journey through body dissatisfaction and anorexia that nearly took her life. How she fought to heal from the broken messages of our society and come back stronger living life to the fullest and showing others the way.

Author of 'Find Your Voice Project' as well Motivational Speaker and Retreat Leader, Andrea has traveled internationally and domestically for two decades on the Professional Speaking circuit. Andrea overcame a 14 year battle with Anorexia and Body Hatred to find healing after years of dedicated hard work and self-introspection through mindful holistic practices. Her life became free the day she made a choice to live embracing the one thing she never sought out before, a future. She shares her rich stories of body healing and acceptance of mind, body and faith through her book, talks, retreats and workshops.
