MEDA's Inaugural BROWN BAG LUNCH SERIES DISCUSSION - Cultivating Inclusive Treatment for Eating Disorders in LGBTQ+ Communities

Join us for this panel discussion facilitated by Jamie Dannenberg, MS, RD, LDN that will explore the complex relationship between identity and mental illness, highlight the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ community members with disordered eating/eating disorders. Panelists will share their experience navigating the mental health and eating disorder treatment systems. They will highlight how providers have affirmed their queer identities, eating, and body image concerns and provide examples of how clinicians can create affirming and healing spaces for queer folks with disordered eating/eating disorders.
