mindfulness eating

I had a therapy session yesterday and we did a mindfulness eating practice. I was scared to death to death to eat the food. But eventually (20min later) ate something so simple yet something so very hard to do for me . Especially when it's in front of someone else. I can't believe I did. She said I didn't have to do it. But I really want to get past this. So now we wrote down one thing a day that I have to eat mindfully. And then keep it down. It's going to be a hard week but I'm going to try my hardest. I want to do this right and get past this ED once and for all. Even though it's a very slow process.

I'm so proud of you for

I'm so proud of you for facing your fear and accomplishing something so amazing!! It seems that you took a huge step and I truly believe that you'll continue to do so. I'm so glad that you have a therapist who seems to understand you and really wants to work within your comfort zone. I can truly feel your positivity and dedication, and I am confident in your ability to beat ED. It is a slow process, but every win, no matter how small, is a step in the right direction. Thank you for sharing this win with us!
