The media can be so negative towards celebrities bodies and it is such a shame! Just like yourself, they are beautiful no matter what size they are. Here are some inspirational quotes I have found from celebrities about their body, daily pressures, and whatnot:
"In Hollywood, I'm obese. I'm considered a fat actress. I'm never going to starve myself for a part. I keep waiting for that one role to come along that scares me enough into dieting and it just can't happen. I'm invincible. I don't want little girls to be like, 'Oh I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner.' That's something that I was really conscious of during training. I was trying to get my body to look fit and strong, not thing and underfed." -- Jennifer Lawrence
"I'm not saying I'm perfect, or fixed, but I am learning to love and accept myself. My outlook is more positive and I am happy." -- Demi Lovato
"I am proud to be a normal size girl, and I want to encourage everyone to be confident at any size." -- Miranda Lambert
"Femininity for me means happiness and freedom...freedom of being who you are in whatever shape or size you come in." -- Kate Winslet
"When I meet young girls, I'm always like, 'Just do me one favor. Love what you look like right now.'" -- Jennifer Love Hewitt
"I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I'm very proud of it." -- Adele
"To me, beauty is about being comfortable in your own skin. It's about knowing and accepting who you are." -- Ellen Degeneres
“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get [a nose job]. And if anybody needed it, I probably did. But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t. That’s why I’m proud to be on a positive show and to be a voice for girls and say, ‘You don’t need to look like everybody else. Love who you are.” -- Lea Michele
“Girls of all kinds can be beautiful -- from the thin, plus-sized, short, very tall, ebony to porcelain skinned, the quirky, clumsy, shy, outgoing and all in between. It’s not easy though because many people still put beauty into a confining, narrow box…Think outside of the box…Pledge that you will look in the mirror and find the unique beauty in you.” -- Tyra Banks
“God made a very obvious choice when he made me voluptuous; why would I go against what he decided for me? My limbs work, so I'm not going to complain about the way my body is shaped.” -- Drew Barrymore
"The more I like me, the less I want to pretend to be other people." -- Jamie Lee Curtis
“I think that whatever size or shape body you have, it's important to embrace it and get down! The female body is something that's so beautiful. I wish women would be proud of their bodies and not dis other women for being proud of theirs!” -- Christina Aguilera
Remember...you are all beautiful no matter the size, shape, or color you are! Stay Strong!
Wonderful quotes! I especially love the Jennifer Lawrence one--an actress who is aware of the effect she can have on fans and who recognizes that young women can be beautiful by being strong, that "skinny" is not the only beautiful.
Jamie Lee Curtis words made my day!
What I have a problem with is people who are hypocritical like Demi Lovato, Shawn Johnson, or Tyra Banks. They preach the "love your body" message constantly, but they fail to let their actions reflect their words. Shawn and Demi have both admitted to losing weight because society tells them to, but they still tell everyone that they shouldn't change for anyone. I have found that this can send a lot of conflicting messages to young girls, and even be triggering to ED patients. It's like someone saying, "No, if I eat that cookie then I will get fat! But you eat that cookie, girl! Love yourself the way you are!". In the case of Tyra Banks, she will gladly say that eveyone is beautiful, but it is easy to say that when you are considered one of the most beautiful women in the world.
I just really hate when people are hypocrites and tell you that you should love yourself and eat whatever they want but no not me.
I do like Jennifer Lawrence though, because she actually does practice what she preaches.

Thank you for sharing such beautifully empowering quotes with us! Yes, celebrities are human and when we read these types of quotes we understand that we are all one. We all encounter the same notions of 'beauty'. I like to learn about powerful women around the world. The women who have really made an impact tend not to allow the superficial to keep them from attaining their goals. So rock on!
