National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) is an annual campaign dedicated to educating the public about the realities of eating disorders and to provide hope and visibility to all those impacted by eating disorders..

In 2026, NEDAW 2026 will take place Monday, February 23 – Sunday, March 1, 2026. This year’s theme, Every BODY Belongs, invites us to move beyond awareness and commit to meaningful change. Throughout #NEDAW, we’ll work together to challenge stigma, expand understanding, and ensure that all people affected by eating disorders feel seen, supported, and valued.

Last year, 796 individuals and organizations nationwide signed on as official National Eating Disorders Awareness Week collaborators. With the support of collaborators like you, we are able to reach more communities, amplify our collective voice, and connect people to trusted resources. This #NEDAW, let’s come together to remind every person impacted by eating disorders that they are not alone—and that every body belongs.

How Do Collaborators Participate?

Collaborators play a vital role in raising awareness during National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) by sharing resources, sparking conversations, and fostering connection in their communities. When you sign up, you’ll get access to ready-to-use tools and materials to make your participation meaningful and impactful.

Here are just a few ways collaborators get involved:

Spread Awareness Online
  • Share NEDAW graphics, videos, blogs, and resources.

  • Post using #NEDAW across social platforms.

  • Highlight NEDAW on your website or link to our NEDAW page.

Get Creative
  • Create an awareness video that centers messages of hope.

  • Light up your business or landmark in blue and green and share on socials using #NEDAW.

Connect Locally
  • Host a small community or fundraising event to inspire connection and creativity. Activities can include making hope boxes, creating a wall of post-it affirmations, bracelet-making, and more.

Share Helpful Resources
  • Post NEDA flyers on campus or in your community.

  • Distribute NEDA’s Toolkits.
