Four New Board Members

The National Eating Disorders Association Elects Four New Board Members and Appoints Experts to Inaugural Research Advisory Council and Clinical Advisory Council

 

Delaware (July 27, 2022) – The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is pleased to announce the election of four new members to the NEDA Board of Directors. New board members include Jen Rionda, Executive with Morgan Stanley, Kristen Chin, Attorney with Aiken Gump, Maryam Khorasani, Attorney with the State Bar of California, Benjamin Lennon, Executive with RBC. 

 

I am pleased to welcome Jen, Kristen, Maryam, and Ben as new Board members,” said Geoff Craddock, Chair, Board of Directors of NEDA. “These individuals bring a wealth of experience and expertise in their fields and will be tremendous assets to our work at NEDA as we further our mission of supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serve as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care.”

NEDA’s Board of Directors, comprised of professionals, philanthropists, parents, advocates, and business leaders, represent the constituents we serve and provide guidance and expertise to advance our mission.

“We also want to extend a warm welcome to the esteemed leaders from the research and clinical communities who have joined NEDA in the newly formed Research Advisory Council and Clinical Advisory Council,” commented Elizabeth Thompson, NEDA’s CEO.  Thompson continued, “These Advisory Councils are charged with providing advice, expertise, and leadership to NEDA in alignment with the organization’s scientific, research and clinical goals and initiatives.  We look forward to having their guidance and input on our mission imperatives.”
