Let’s Get Real, the 2018 theme of National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, the largest eating disorders awareness campaign in the US, worked to break the stereotypes of eating disorders and talk openly about these illnesses. In 2018 we had over 364 partners, and 94 building lightings in 40 states, take part in the week. NEDA thanks the Empire State Building and all partner buildings for lighting up in blue and green for NEDAW 2018. With the support of all of our partners, we were able to successfully raise awareness about eating disorders through reaching 304.3 million people on social media. Additionally, with the support of our many advocates, the Senate officially recognized February 26th - March 4th as National Eating Disorder Awareness Week in the U.S.
