After Purging

I have been doing really well for the last couple of months, but today I purged again. I was wondering if it was a good idea to eat something. I remember waking up after a purge and feeling so hungry it led to me purging again the next day and was wondering if eating after a purge was a good way to try and break the cycle?

Call Advice Nurse if Not Sure.

I know when i suffer from hypoglycemia after a all or nothing food frenzy crash the next day I begin morning w/ breakfast and then keep my diet on the light until i feel better. Good Luck. Call a dietitian or a nurse if not sure?

Hang in there!

Hi Cassie6!

Congratulations on actively staying in recovery for the last couple of months! My suggestion to you is to seek out a medical professional about the symptoms you are currently experiencing. I would suggest seeing a dietician, a PCP, and/or a therapist in your local area. The NEDA website has some great resources for you to utilize. Here is a link you can use to help narrow down your search,

Let us know if that helps or what else we can do to help! I wish you the best of luck!
