Participating in a research study can help.

If you are seeking treatment for yourself or a loved one, participating in a research study can offer assistance, particularly for those with limited funds. Studies can be an excellent opportunity to further the understanding of eating disorders and to improve the quality of care. Please carefully examine the criteria and other research protocols to make sure a particular research study is right for you.

Promising new scientists encouraged to apply for a Young Investigator Grant

The NEDA Young Investigator Research Grants application process is closed.

Young Investigator Grants have been possible through the generous donations from individuals, foundations and/or corporations. Since 2002, NEDA and the Academy for Eating Disorders (AED) have invested in the future of a dozen promising new scientists leveraging over $237,500 to advance eating disorder research. Research grant awards range from $7,500 to $10,000 per scientist and depend on the amount of funds raised in the previous year.

If you or a foundation/corporation you know would like to invest in the future of a promising young scientist you can donate now with our secure, online giving center.
