NEDAwareness Week Successful in Increasing Help Seeking Behavior

NEDAwareness Week 2013 was once again a great success in raising awareness about eating disorders and directing people to the help they need. Participation spanned the country and across the globe, reaching people with critical information and resources about these potentially life-threatening illnesses. Thanks to so many dedicated activists - events held on college campuses, in high schools or grade schools, through community organizations and treatment providers, online tweet chats, and millions who joined the social media campaign - record numbers of people reached out for help and information.  It's nearly impossible to quantify these efforts, but we thought we'd give it a try.
