Chuck has been working as a jeweler for more than 10 years. As a person who is politically active and aware, Chuck wanted to do more to transform society than simply make “pretty things” as he put it.

“After NEDA approached me to develop some jewelry to help raise funds, I decided to learn more. NEDA’s mission is one that I totally support and believe in.” NEDA supports individuals and families affected by eating disorders, and serves as a catalyst for prevention, cures and access to quality care.

Only Chuck makes the gold and silver jewelry pieces for NEDA – they are not mass-produced and they are not available anywhere else but here in our store. Chuck’s jewelry not only helps raise funds for the organization, it also provides a wearable symbol to show support for NEDA and for those struggling to overcome their eating disorders. Friends and family members can support their loved ones by wearing jewelry that is symbolic of that struggle. More importantly, any attention to the jewelry helps raise awareness of the disorders and of NEDA’s efforts.

Not only does Chuck help NEDA by creating fine jewelry for the store, he also donates other beautiful jewelry to NEDA’s online auction, further helping to raise funds and awareness.
