Donate a car or other vehicle.
Donating a car, boat or RV to NEDA is easy. We work with the company Donate for Charity which arranges free vehicle pickup, handles DMV issues, sells it at auction and distributes the net proceeds to NEDA. For more information, call toll-free: 1-866-392-4483 or complete this online form.

In-kind gifts
NEDA welcomes non-cash contributions (also referred to as in-kind gifts) to help fulfill our mission to support individuals and families affected by eating disorders. By donating goods or services, you are helping free up operating dollars that can now go toward essential education, support and research. Examples of in-kind gifts include: flight miles, airline tickets, professional services, office equipment* or items for our annual online auction, such as: travel, jewelry, artwork, tickets (sports, theater, symphony, etc), restaurant or spa gift certificates, and more.

If you have an item or service you wish to donate, please contact the Development Director at 206-382-3587 ext. 15 or development@MyNEDA.org.

*Please contact us first if you would like to donate a computer, printer or other office equipment and we’ll let you know if the specifications will work with our systems before you incur any shipping or delivery charges. Thank you.

Workplace giving
Every fall, generous donors give to their favorite nonprofit organizations through workplace giving campaigns. NEDA’s membership in the Medical Reseach Charities (MRC) makes us eligible for more campaigns and provides greater options to our donors and members.

Workplace giving is convenient because donations can be deducted directly from your paycheck. This also makes it possible to make a larger contribution with donations spread out over time.

As an MRC member, the National Eating Disorders Association participates in the Combined Federal Campaign and many state, city and United Way campaigns. Our campaign code number is #12120.

If you do not see us listed in your workplace campaign brochure, please write us in. In most campaigns, donors have the option to make a contribution to any qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization of their choice.
